Past Restoration Projects - 1959 AJS Model 14
This particular motorcycle has been leaning in a garden shed for the past eighteen years in a mostly dismantled state.
The engine and gearbox were completely dismantled and left in numerous boxes.
After much sorting out there was a variety of parts from a number of different machines that had somehow found themselves lumped together.
The engine and gearbox was rebuilt first and bolted together only to find that the unit bolted together could not be put in to the frame. Eventually, after another dismantle and re assembly we have success.
