1960 RAP Imperial Moped 49cc Dutch in origin

Bought on a whim when I was out with a mate helping him look for a new project at a motorcycle dealers in Devon.

It really caught took my eye as an unusual bike, it was all there and I thought i would take a chance.

Managed to recover the original registration from the tax disc. Struggled a bit with some of the engine bits but discovered that the Phillips Gadabout used the same REX three speed engine.

A company called 'MOPEDLAND ' were very helpful in the supply of parts including piston rings whitewall tyres and bits for the three speed hand change.

Most people have never heard of the make and model so is a good talking point.
